so recently I've been looking around to and fro , from peer to peer and ive noticed something.... well something inevitible , and known well before recent timing.... C O L L E G E . can . change a person.... Or rather... As I like to put it.. becomes themself, if that nakes sense... Well ill put it like this -

when a person is removed from ourside / condensed influence , such as involontary control like parents , school , etc . The ability to form personal morals and views is in a way forced opon ones self.....

for myself, I pretty much developed my own morals and views before I came to college and moving around so much growing up im used to being around new ppl who are different from me not just on a physical level is pretty much commonality to me so im reeeeally used to it... but others who have perhaps lived in the same place around the same ppl their whole life?? Wow.... Thats a lot.. I cant even imagine that...

I think your first year of college shows how strong you are in away also... not having yhe comfort of home, and how others deal with the fact of some what losing all control shows how well you seal witg lofe in general....

so maybe people arent changing but becoming who theyve always been.....

end of the week....

here we are.... the end of another week... its gone by pretty fast i believe ! though i only posted one picture of my outfits during the week... i really need to try and do that more often ... or maybe at the end of the week have a collection of what ive worn in the past five days... this post will be super short.. chem in the am !

Whoa. Im in college ?

So today I had another of my man whooooa moments . I went to one of my medical clubs meetings I was sitting there listening to the speaker and thought ... Wow. I'm actually on that road to doing something I've always just dreamed about... It's moments like that which justify my choice to pursue a career in the sciences .


Well tomorrow [ today ] is labs . Chen and bio... I usually look forward to Chen lab.... But we shall see how bio lab goes, I'm really interested to see how they're going to test us on the skeleton and memorizing all the bones... Taking a&p in high school reeeeally helps with the second semester of biology... But any hoot....


On ward soldiers as they say ! And we shall conquer the day !

yes, i may be skipping a couple of days buuuuuut, hey !
took that biology quiz today and did alot better than i orignally assumed !

its been awhile ---> .......

yes yes i have neglected my new found outlet after only a handful of post , but hopefully with my new laptop i can continue to keep the ball rolling -----> O.... <---- [ ball rolling ] since my last post , college has been in full swing and with that so has the work load. this semester im taking bio/chem/psych/religon/literature ,

 i have a bio quiz in the morning that i really hope i do well on. since not taking calculus I this semester i have alot less stress and more time so i should do even better in chem/bio. this semester in bio also focuses more on a&p . something , thanks to a great teacher in high school , im pretty solid on. chem this semester ?

a bit more in depth but with my stellar tutor i should be okay. also , i spent the loooongest time ever in the research lab today preforming a certain type of cancer treatment . in other words ---> im dead tired . also also , is it just me or is the weather doing some strrrraange things these days??

First Day Back .

So today was the first day of official class at [ the university ].
i started off my first day of returning to school with breakfast .
something i often forego to obtain an extra hour or so of sleep.
this semester ive noticed that many of my classes have now been downsized tremendously .
my general chemistry class looks like half the class has not returned .
once again after chemistry i went to general biology class .
hmmmm.... how could I describe my biology class ?
honestly i haven't figured it out as of yet.
after my last class , which now ends at 12 instead of 1 , i had soooo much free time since i didn't go to my jobs.
[ the friends ] and i , after lunch did something tooootally out of character....
we actually had to look around for something to do.
apparently the staff at [ the university ] was not informed of this dilemma.
there was nothing to do ! the activity center was closed , the gym was closed , and our dorm doesn't have any game rooms .
knowing that after next week we will probably raaaarely leave the books , staying inside all day studying was not an option.
all around enjoying a free day was pretty freaking awesome.
ive learned in college sometimes doing nothing can be the most fun activity ever !

Back in the Saddle Again ! *cue corny sitcom music*

the party has arrived (not literally) yep im back on campus ! after a long luminous winter break its back to [ the university ]. school doesnt start til wednesday so until then im enjoying my time away from the textbooks but simotaniously still encompassed by the bounds of a learning ground. [ the friends ] and i walked around, went to the library and actually looked at books, and then the movies. until its time to officially time to crack open the books and burry myself into the holes of science major life i plan on living up life ! *woot woot* (in other the words... tommorrow).

that girl [ likes ] .

so i love music. but im the most picky music picker. the type of music i like to listen to is so hard to describe to people who arent me ( that cancels out a lot of people ) . if i could charactize by genre it'd be kinda soul. kinda acoustic. kinda singer-songwriter. kinda indie. and some country up in the mix too.

some of my favorite artists ;

 melissa is an indie singer-songwriter with a reeeeally soulful voice. and she writes her OWN music and plays the guitar [ a must for my music ] .

James Morrison - awesome voice and he touches the blue-eyes soul side of life



anhayla . i just started listening to her. saw her youtube video on someones facebook page. shes an indie artist with an  r&b sound

rascal flatts - need i say more ?

 

leah smith - started listening to her recently, she has a very soulful voice and she incorporates Christ in her music !

 

jason reeves - last but probably shouldve been first. ive been listening to him the longest out of the listed. his lyrics are like poetry and he strums a mean acoustic guitar. what more does a girl need?

first off i will start with some introductions of the world that surrounds me.

[ the university ] - the school i currently attend. HBCU. inspiration for alot of future posts. my home. my restaurant. my park. my social-meeting-ground-place. and holds the key to possibly make or break my future [ no worries....right? ]

[ the friends ] - my ultimate kick back crew. the coolest group of people you will ever have the privilege of meeting. they keep me sane. also my partners in encountering this strange new land. my outlet for a small but present social life. they make me smile :)
                      
[ that girl ] - that would be typer of the words you are reading on the screen. yep me. well as you can see i dont like capital letters very much, i find them biased. i love brackets [] and parentheses (). etc.
